Hazelnut

General Information

Hazelnut is the fruit from hazel, a plant that grows as a branched bush. The average height of it reaches 3-8 meters, but in particularly good conditions it can reach a height of even 15 meters. The origin of the hazelnut is Asia (Mesopotamia), and today it has a wide use in the food industry. Its most common use in the confectionery industry; Hazelnut is simply inevitable in the chocolates, creams and other treats. Known not only for the taste, but also for the aroma, and can be eaten raw, baked or dried.
